How was it tested?
A gentleman at a local gold buying facility scratched some of the concentrate on a stone and place the acid on it I just now did a stannis test which I hope I did correctly I took four quarter inch Links of lead-free solder and melted them down in HCL however the pieces of lead-free tin did not dissolve all the way when I did the test and I only took four or five grains of the concentrate and did it on a white coffee lid top and believe it or not I got a very slight Violet tent to the stannis after I get the solder dissolved completely I will make an attempt to test the larger portion of the concentrate

Drasil..... The ore that I have came from the largest electrum producing area in the state of New Mexico the specific mine where I got this produced over 450,000 oz of tellurium and was known also for large amounts of electrum

Do you have any idea if the electrum will separate as well as the normal silver and gold

Stephen In Your picture
Those dark-Brown spots looking very interesting for gold.
but if there is gold in those dark-Brown spots.
will be very fine gold.

when i go out to lode mining
that’s what I exactly looking for
Dark-brown stains.

the cubic sulfide,Is probably Galena
(Lead Sulfide) it colors can range from Lead-gray to very dark purple.

very prominent is Southern Arizona and West Southern New Mexico.

if the silver ore You have is galena
it will be a pain to extract it the silver from the Galena.

You will need lot of equipment and Chemicals.
only profitable for those big company.

I attach 2 pictures of High grade Silver Ore.
That i have in my personal collection.

it have chalcopyrite and some gold.
the gold is very fine and is it in the brown vein that is in the middle of the Ore.
and in those brown spots in the ore.

But it’s contains Very good amount of Silver
can be profitable for small and medium miners.

(I don't like to put grams per tons, because it actually varies a lot, not all Ore contain the same amount of precious metals).

i pick up those ore from an old abandoned mine from a near very famous place in Southern Arizona.

I was looking for Gold ore
then i found that Pile of those Silver Ore
but at that time,I didn't know it was a silver mine.

That is not a test for ores.
It is important to use the correct names for chemicals and processes.
On letter wrong will mean another chemical and the difference between success and failure.
It is Stannous test and it can not be used on solids only dissolved metals.
Electrum is an alloy between Gold and Silver and are sometimes also called green Gold depending on the alloy itself.
So it will behave just the same as other Gold alloys.
Tellurium is highly toxic.

You need to do more research, read Hokes book as a starter.
And do search the forum.

I just noticed I had not given you the customary welcome.
Here it is.

We ask our new members to do 3 things.
1. Read C.M. Hokes book on refining jewelers scrap, it gives an easy introduction to the most important chemistry regarding refining.
It is free here on the forum: https://goldrefiningforum.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=54&t=19798

It was the Town Tombstone Arizona.

Bisbee is well know for the copper production.

I pick that Silver Ore near the Town of Tombstone.
That Town was famous for Producing millions in Silver
and still some of abandoned mine all around there, with very promising Silver Ore that the old timer left it in piles.

always look for sign of ownership
like Stacks
claims jumping is Not fine and can make the owner angry.

some abandoned mine still have enough ore in the high grade piles
that will keep miner busy for years.

that’s one of the reason I don’t go inside a mine.
the old timer did almost all the job for Us.

the other reason I don’t go inside a mine ?
is for safety reason
I’m very concern about my safety
there lot of thing that can go wrong inside a mine.

1:toxic gases like H2S (sewer gas) in low concentration smell like rotten eggs.
but the dangerous thing is when is in high concentration You cannot smell it.

H2S gas can kill a person almost instantly.

an old miner gave me an advice.
when You see a mine with water and organic materials inside.
Don’t go inside that mine!.

2:Lack of Oxigen.

3: Bats excrement ,called (Guano).

is very dangerous ,because the illness any one can get by touching it or breath it.

4: open pit,darkness,snake,black widow spiders,falling rocks.

so many thing can go wrong.
if we are not aware of it.
for that reason when we go mining
we don’t play,we do it very seriously.

we put 1000% in what we do.
that’s the way,we can go back to Home.

follow advice,learn the trade.
study and study.

I still learning new thing today.
that can safety apply to my trade of mining.

like the old moto said.
“there is No cure for gold fever”

good day👍.

Tellurium is usually found as calaverite, the telluride of gold, and also combined with other metals.
