Dusting off some old IBM stuff today .. Anyone ever seen these chips before ? Having trouble identifying manufacturer. One says JUS .. the other JUQ .. but with the same emblem.

Thanks in advance

Interesting. You probably won't have much luck figuring out what they are since they've been house numbered as 2395863 and 2395864. Note the single-inline white items which I'm guessing are 2.7K resistor networks with the similar house numbering scheme 2392700 and also the chips at the top of the photo numbered 2392102. It's just a guess but due to the 28 pin packages and sequential numbering I'm thinking they might be mask-programmed ROM's? If you remove them from the board they may have the original manufacturer part number stamped on the bottom of the chips, or not.

The boards look like they come from older midrange or mainframe gear.
Look for a part number that would be seven digits on the board that
these chips are on s that would at least give you what machine it
came out of and it's vintage.

Pretty chips though. 8)

Thank you for the advice. I'll look for the part numbers and advise. Here is a picture of the complete board. Was hoping these boards from the hoarder may be good eBay candidates. Best

I don't know what your aim is here, to determine the board's sale value or if you intend to scrap it? In any case I think it's quite likely there is some gold in those larger metal canned IC's at the bottom left also, maybe in the smaller metal-cased transistors as well. Gold leads or a small gold tab on the edge of the metal case is a good sign but I've found gold in some transistors and metal-cased IC's that gave no external indication of it also. Of course I always crack open at least one of each different part# of the black IC's also.

Я работал с такими микросхемами.
В среднем 0,060 Au на корпус...

I can't read them from the picture but the part number for the board
is on either the second or fourth of the four top connecting pads.

Type out what they say and I will see if I can help identify the board.
It looks like something built by IBM from the early to mid 80's.
