Just as a question, did you know the real gold is in the fibre versions of these? That's where the 1g per chip myth came from.

I didn`t know that pentium pro had a fibre version .. .. I`ve read about all sort of "wonder" processors, that have astronomical yields...Never found one though. ..

I think the bottom Pentium Pro is a fiber version....I've never found one yet.

I`ve searched google for it and found that same black fiber pro, i just didnt know it existed, never saw one.

I do find sometimes exotic chips...but it is harder and harder to get quality old stuff..

Ive never done enough of them in a discrete batch to get a formal yield but whenever theyve been in a mix of ceramics/non ceramics the results have been markedly different. I've had the same info from a guy whose extremely good at this. I'll look some out from my stash and maybe try to get a proper figure.
