hi all

i gained access to around 330 pound (4050 units) of this cards.
military grade , avionics related.
some are less populated by black IC's and some are more.

sorry about the quality, it was taken by my laptop integrated webcam:

Picture 019.jpg

contains what look's to be just regular flat pack (gold corner)
a few black IC's
a few dozens of monocaps
and a 2 54 header pins slot (male)

do any of you belive that the header pins are plated with less the 20 microinch of gold?
we are traying to judge if it's worthwhile to process them or to sell them, and anywhere above 20 microinch is ok for us to process.

Thank you, your opinion count. 8)

PS, very soon i'll upload a picture of a very interesting component....

by the way...

here is a test batch of pins that came out of 1 KG (sorry, we use the metric way  ) of boards.

Picture 022.jpg

as you can see they ware cut out with a piece of the board insted of pulled out.
they will spend the next week in a crockpot using only HCL.

even though i'm gonna test it (i'll be a full if i don't) i still would love to here some opinions.

Thanks
SAMUEL

Even Americans that are used to a different measuring system than metric, usually find the wisdom in metric at least for chemistry.
