Have several contacts from a yale foklift (part # 5007962). They are heavy copper bars about 3" in length and 1" width with silver looking contact points (flat) about the size of a dime at each end. They are non magnetic and I was wondering. Are they silver or what?

Simple testing will answer your question. You can use schwerter solution or dissolve some shavings in Nitric acid and put small pinch of salt there. If you observe white cottage cheese like substance yes, silver is there.
