Electrochemistry Is there any use for Electrophoresis cells?

I have acquired few Electrophoresis Bio-Rad cells/systems. Are they any use with modification for refining or refining analytical purpose?

I do lots of electronics components assays, I wonder if I can utilize them anyhow.

I don'tknow,where I had found this,but try to google "Electrographic Metal Detection". There are a lot of experiments about this. Maybe you can adapt this to your material. Though some filterpaper, a battery and two wires would probably be enough.
