Sorry guys. One more cool item. Just downloaded from my i-Phone. Thought this group would enjoy this one too. These little critters were on the very tippy top of a heap I scaled and had been exposed to weather for 10 years plus. 40 lbs worth. AMP connectors

While that pile certaily looks nice, it is obvious the connectors are the cheap kind since the gold plated part looks like max 1/10 from the total amount. Nevertheless, the 5-20 grams of gold you can extract out of those it's not somethig to throw away

BTW, once you did it PLEASE get back with the results.

I actually just got the results over the phone .. haven't seen the settlement yet .. but suffice it to say they are well north of $50 / lb.
