Laptop battery

I disassembled some and found this thing inside. I do not know proper name but I do believe it is some sort of temperature sensor or something like that.
Question is what it is and what is it constructed from, does it have any value from metal recovery point of view?
Sorry for picture my recent phone is with crappy camera. They are silvery looking with pointy green tip.

Those are thermal fuses, not likely anything of value in them. The second link has construction details of a brand called Sefuse. There is more in those than I would have expected?

please make sure not to puncture the battery packaging, you will get a instant ""flame up"" with lithium type batteries.

breathing this will not be good for you or anyone close by.

you can test this out doors by shooting one with a pellet gun or stabbing it with a sharp object and moving away quickly
