Laptop screen PM's

I just got a laptop minus hard drive and battery to salvage PM's from. I have already pulled the memory chips and CPU. I started taking the display screen apart and found it had maybe 4 or 5 different layers. The bottom layer looked like a mirror and I think this is where the electrical contact strips were attached. I hope it isn't a true mirror because I broke a small section off one corner and seven years bad luck is all I need. Is this the part of the display which contains PM's or is it in one of the other layers?
