Does anyone know where I can find a site where sellers buy very large amounts of gold?

Thank you,

Isn't this kind of like military intelegence?

Are you wanting to buy or sell?

If I remember right, the last time you wanted to buy gold powder from refiners. You were about as evasive about it then as now. Why don't you quit wasting everyone's time, stop beating around the bush, and tell us what you really want, in some sort of detail. What do you mean by "very large" - 10 oz? a million oz? In what form do you want this gold - bullion, powder, scrap, plating salts, wire, etc?

Here's a simple solution.

If this individual doesn't respond with meaningful information, I propose he be banned from the forum.

Trolls come in many descriptions, with many ways to waste the time of those that frequent this forum. Lets see to it that they are not successful.

I will mark this page and look for a meaningful response by Sunday, May 2. If there is no response clarifying the original post, I will ban the individual.

What has he done that would justify his being banned? It seems he is looking for a product, but not 100% sure of what he is looking for, or where to get it.

I do not want to step on your toes or upset you Harold. But I feel for my years of moderting forums and boards that you are wrong in this situation.

I agree. It's harsh. Likely makes no sense to most people----------but from my perspective, whereby I spend no less then three hours, daily, moderating two boards, it is nothing short of a waste of my time to read posts that make no sense, and are not corrected such that they do. That is a clear sign of one of two things;

1) The individual in question is clearly over his/her head, and should step back and learn before polluting the forum with what amounts to nonsense.
2) The individual in question knows of what they speak, and is posting confusing information in an attempt to keep readers off balance. You can look at it in much the same way hackers get their kicks.

If a clarification isn't posted, what conclusion would you draw?

I think GSP's comments pretty well make it clear, and my sig line describes my feelings on this subject.

In my opinion (worth about two cents), there is one other thing missing. People very often don't want to put in the time to read what to do. They throw out this blanket statement or question to have somebody do the work for them. They think they are entitled. That person may not respond, just because they don't care. I am not saying this person is like that, but many people are.

Yep, I agree. I missed one.

I hope I can speak for others when I say that those of us that have experience in the refining field are happy to help, but readers must meet us half way. They should do their homework and learn the ways of refining---instead of coming to the forum and asking to be spoon fed.

I know, beyond a doubt, that there is enough information posted on this forum, at my hand, alone, that would lead all but the most simple of minded individual, to a successful conclusion in refining gold. Readers really should do some reading before asking the same questions time and again.

It is my opinion that no one should look upon gold refining as a means to an end, when they have not the slightest idea of how the market works, nor how gold is processed. Getting involved in an area in which one has no expertise is an open invitation to failure, and often serves to harm potential customers through ignorance.

As a new member this guy may be naive?

I'm a new member too.
I've jumped in with both feet and that's just me. I know I may have gotten my nose bloody and I've presented some troubling to me stuff that I hoped would be cleared up. I've been feed misleading information and been exposed to witchcraft types in past. I joined the forum to learn, ask question, and expose the good the bad and ugly and weed through chasing my tail in. There are no dumb questions, but bad statements maybe?

This guy is asking suspicious questions and giving his first and last name, this shows he a bit is on the naive side.

Be kind to the dumb, naive, and stupid, but be cautious to those who are just disturbing the pile. A few weeks ago I jumped a thread, and showed I did not fully understand the protocol. I was set straight and and still learning, If he/she is being honest teach the ways of Jeti.........err wrong forum......the protocol. However.......

The new guy looking for the truth,
WIZZARD

Wizzard, I was wondering where you got some of the technique's and language in gold refining, some of it seemed very strange to me, thanks for the last post, it now makes more sense to me. Now the name Wizzard makes sense also.

Those seeking the truth will find it, sometimes it’s not always what we want to hear, but it always does us good. This is a good place to find the truth about these metals.

After being here a while, I have seen times where I thought Harold may have been too harsh or may have been wrong, I would not say anything and wait to see how it played out.
I cannot think of one time that I remember that he did not prove to be right in his judgment,
I guess all those years of dealing with gold and the rats that come with it; he has learned to smell one.

Well. This is only my opinion but let think for a while what this guy just did. He posted question about buying large amounts of gold. Maybe he has some money maybe he is from IRS. If he is naive with a lot of money then he is lost by now. His inbox must be suffed full with messages from owners of african mines looking for buyers - we all can remember few posts with so-called Nigerian letters where investment was sought for huge % return. Maybe he just did not had chance to went throught all those letters or he is from Revenue collecting data about individuals who have large amounts of gold on offer....
