leaching of gold without cyanide

is anybody knows exact process of gold leaching using 1]thiourea 2]thiosulphate?i knows about cynide complexed with gold and silver,but it is so harmful to envoirnment.so i want to know how other chemicals like thiourea and sodiumthiosulphate leach the gold.

Cyanide is cheaper than thiosulfate and thiourea,this is the reason why cyanide is preferred in mines processes.

Talking about e scrap,thiosulfate process could work well,I am trying to probe it but I have had some trouble with using CuSO4.
