I want to produce stainless steel(316L) from scrap iron, (not iron ore)

Melting scrap iron in induction, adding nickle , magnese, vanadoum, chromium in spefic ration,

Any thing else required

Scrap iron can beone of non carbon iron/ low carbon iron
Any more guidance?

As Martijn said, not the topic of this forum.
My guess it is more to it than that.
You need to know the exact composition on the scrap steel and so on.
So a well streamlined lab would be needed as well.
Cheaper to buy it.
