I read somewhere that some medical waste such as EP cathetors (bit used to look inside you) has platinum on it. Has anyone had experience recyling this type of scrap

Cheers

Here is a link you may want to try: http://www.epcatheters.com/faq.php

Although there is a lot of government regulations, you may want to also consider crematory metals. Pacemakers have platinum wires, and that is the only way to recover them.

Medical scrap, if it has been used, is considered a Biohazard and has to be handled accordingly. Hospitals and such, are required by Law to send the waste to an authorized facility. If you think incinerating body parts might be fun and you have a few hundred Million $ to build a facility and get certified, go for it.

When it comes to writing, and expressing myself clearly, I’m not so good. When I mentioned crematory metals, I wasn’t talking about burning some body parts, in the back yard. I intended it to be plain enough so that anyone with reasoning power could tell that one has to work with a mortician at their facility. Excuse me for not making that clear enough.
