Since my supplier went out of business, I am having trouble locating a source for reasonably priced micron filters that can be used in recovery of gold from crude ore. Can anyone give me a source?

Thank you most gratefully.

It would help a great deal if you could describe what you're actually doing. Filters that can serve the purpose may not be at all what you imagine.

I use three filters types when I refined. I recommend each of them highly, as they served my needs perfectly. Doesn't mean they'd work for you, though. Glad to comment if I know what you're trying to accomplish.

There are chinese made filter paper cyllindrically wrapped.
I suppose it is polypropylene based. Look for them in
the web markets.

Filters for bio-diesel are the way to go they are acid proof and heat resistant up to 200 degrees. They are available down to 0.5 micron.
