Mid 80's - Mid 90's Avionics Boards

I came across a good deal of retired parts from Gulfstream II's and corporate jets. Purple boards, AMD & Intel chips with the see through hole, You can see the gold layer , almost count with the naked eye the transistors.

I can take some pics.

I think the highest material content would be palladium...
Most of the eproms are in removable slots.

What would be the most effective prep steps...
