mini mapp gas furnace

is this as easy to build as it looks ?

metal pipe with cap (cap for the base)
plaster of paris
metal hose clamp
drill bits
mold for the plaster

+ melting supplies.

question #2 can this set up be used to smelt MLCC's 8)

Not really necessary IMHO. You can melt up to 5Toz in a 3" bone ash dish with Mapp gas tourch. But that is pushing it. You just have to learn the trick's.

The video is done by a guy using the name clkindred. He has several other useful videos as well. That would be the one I would go with and adapt it to my needs.
