Hi all
I have been ready and following. Got some of my crucibles and baked them in the oven to drive out moisture. If graphite is like anything else, reabsorption can occur so I heated them in canning jars, topped with heated lids afterwards and when cooled enough, vacuumed them with my litt;e jar sealer. I am going so slow, I thought this would be the best way to keep them until I temper them. Not even close to that yet, but working on that end as well. Been reading all over the web and watching videos as well as here and the downloaded Hoke's book, ways to go yet. The pics show my sealer, crucibles in the overr at the start, and after sealing them.
