Good evening my friends
I have a problem with extracting minerals
I have a gold duo metal that does not melt with me in the oven or even melts in the Aqua Riga
How do I convert the binary gold into a single so that the gold melts with me
Thank you

What are you talking about? Gold fused to another metal or an alloy? How do yo know it's gold?
Aqua Regia, when hot, dissolves almost all metals, some PGM.s are harder to dissolve.
Gold melts at around 1100 degrees C, how hot is your oven?
Minerals are salts, do you have metals or minerals?
Where did you get this material from? nature? someone else's waste? gold scrap?

More info needed, please.

Martijn.

Welcome to the forum, Ashraf77.

There are plenty of alloys that can resist aqua regia, but the one we usually run into is anything with 10+% silver. It forms a crust of silver chloride and passivate in aqua regia. The standard solution here is to add more silver to get it to 75% and use nitric acid to first remove the silver. Look for inquartation.

But Martijn is correct. We need more details to be able to help you or we are just guessing blindly.
