Just wanted to introduce myself as I am new to the forum. My name is Eric. I am a small volume hobby computer scrapper in FL. Joined this forum to see where all the gold fingers and things I'm ripping out of PCs are going.

If you stick around and do the relevent reading and studying the gold fingers and things you are ripping out of computers could well be going into your own stash of PM's in the very near future.
Get yourself a download copy of Hoke's book from the book section and you will be taking your first steps along the road to refining your own computer gold.

Indeed, there is a WEALTH of information on this site. And I'm already wanting to turn the storage shed into a chem lab haha. But alas that must wait. Lots of reading to do. Saw a ton of people quoting or referencing "Hote" so I looked it up and found a book just before I saw your post =) Thanks for steering me in the right direction. Im glad that I have not gotten around to selling any of the accumulated computer stuff I have in the garage. =) Curiousity killed the cat though, and he had nine lives! Gotta resist the urge to jump into this fast, for I only have one.
