I am new to metal processing. I have been around industrial metal crafting but using chemistry to dissolve and reclaim metal is a step for me. I do not have any big plans at this time but after I get a grasp on the technology, I might get some profitable ideas. If I use the wrong terms, it is because I am a beginner. Thanks for hosting this forum and posting your secrets guys. I will try and respect the rules here and in using the methods if I get that far....this has always been one of my wish I knew how subjects...

Welcome aboard! Read and study the forum. Check the listings under members sig lines, it's a wealth of information. Read Hokes! When you feel ready, do the getting acquainted procedures that Hoke provides. You will definitely need to make stannous for testing. Study safety and waste treatment. It takes time and patience, but if you are really interested in learning this hobby, it's well worth the effort. No need to invest a lot for equipment initially. Just use glassware and plastic until you decide if this is for you. Once you feel you have a understanding, then ask your questions and we are here to help.
