So this is what that powder looks like after being boiled in water and dried out in the sun
Just an idea since i am confused a little bit, but as I understood, you have processed a mixed batch of e-scrap not selective, but as a whole. Could that be that this batch had some heat paste remnants on the boards or on components?
It happened to me when I started this adventure (2018) and I was experimenting using AP on green fiber processors on which i had left the heat past on the silicone dye. My results were the same cloudy grey stuff that looked just like yours.
Don`t try to melt it, under high heat it will emmanate a very toxic fume... Have no idea and i dont want to try it again what the mixture was, but approx. 5-10 gr in a crucible with this grey stuff filled a 30mx15mx10m (wxdxh) hangar in 2 minutes with a punching smelling dense smoke.
After that i layed all acids aside started intense learning and concentrated on more mechanical approch and less acids.

Pete.
