My name is Kasse (kc). I have been in ming for many years (25+) working in both surface and underground mining. I am new to the chemical processing of gold, have only used gravity separation with limited smelting experience. I have started my own hardrock mine and now need to learn how to better process sulfide ores. I came here to this forum to both give and receive knowledge.

Welcome to us.

Welcome to the forum.

Smelting with the right fluxes may be a better option than a chemical process for sulfide ore. You will have to test with different flux mixes to get the best results for your ore concentrates.

You can refine your gold chemically once you have a concentrated metal.

Here is a video about smelting sulfides with different collector metals from a guy that knows what he's doing and shows mistakes or things that don't work.
