You could always process it to see if you get any PMs.
If you don't think it's worth the time and/or don't want to produce more waste to deal with, You can always take it to a scrapyard or recycling center and toss it in the shred pile "dirty tin".
If you take it to the non-ferrous area so they can look at it, they could possibly give you brass price or even copper #2 for it, depending on what material it was made from. You might want to save up a good bit first, seeing that scrapyards usually pay by the pound.
