Non-Chemical newbie needs some help with borax

HELLO EVERYONE. I BEEN USING THE INFORMATION ON FORUM QUIT A BIT, VERY HELPFUL. I AM ABOUT TO MELT ABOUT 3 OUNCES GOLD DUST IN ELECTRIC OVEN. I WAS CURIOUS TO KNOW IF ANYONE HAS AN IDEA OF HOW MUCH BORAX GLASS AND SODA ASH I SHOULD USE PER OUNCE OF GOLD. ALSO SHOULD I COOK THE BORAX INTO THE CRUCIBLE AND LET COAT THE ENTIRE CRUCIBLE AND COOL BEFORE I ADD GOLD. THE CRUCIBLE IS GRAFITE AND CLAY COMBO.

If your gold is clean just coat the crucible with borax and melt it.

Loose the all caps it is considered screaming at people.
