Do any one use or know any information about hydro treating catalyst called KF-840 -1.3Q and KF-840 -3Q made by AKZO NOBEL or now it is called ALBEMARLE company , we will use it in our NHT unit, what are upsets or problems with using that catalyst?
did any one see any NHT unit used it before? because it is an old fresh charge in our warehouse , we need to know about it's problems or upsets.

thank you

Naphtha Hydrotreating unit? Surely not a run of the mill refining operation!

A search of Ablemarle and Akzo Nobel using KF-840 yielded no results.

Since you are new here, actually you posted this after just a few minutes on the board, why don't you give us some insight into what you do and what your issues are. This is a forum where our members benefit from the experiences of others, and generally speaking, new members who come in and post questions immediately, are not in it for the benefit of the forum, but for their own benefit.

Please prove me wrong! What does your company do? And how are you equipped to do it?

I can tell you the chemical analysis for KF-841-13Q: Mo: 10.69%, Ni: 1.85%
I'v look for MSDS but i don't find'it.
