niton xl2 xrf analyser not working

Hi,

I have an issue with my analyser,everytime i try to launch the testing, it gives me this error,

Also touch screen is not working i have to pick the options by pressing the buttons under the screen.

So when i click analyse,it gives me first error which is ^Mint count rate not detected then it asks me if i want to perform a system check after i click yes it gives me second error ^x ray tube error ^ and the screen freezes.

Is there a solution that you guys can tell me?any help?

p.s. i live in miami so anybody can recommend me a technician about this gun if just in case i cant fix it by myself.

I hope you acquired this properly since their are NO user serviceable internal parts.
Either contact your dealer to get it repaired, or scrap it for the PM's contained inside :lol:

One thing I hope you haven't done is dropped it or banged it heavily because if so you have broken the X-ray tube which is a bit expensive to have replaced. If you have just purchased it perhaps the original owner did just that and sold it rather than pay to have it fixed.
