NITRIC question

I have just found a place to buy nitric acid but.

The label says it contains 30% nitric and 5-15% phosphoric acid.

Can I use this as plain nitric or not use at all.

No doubt some one will know

No, the phosphoric acid will interfere with many reactions, rendering it useless.

To use it, you would have to carefully distill out the nitric acid. This will work quite well if done in reduced pressure giving clear, quality nitric. Do not overheat the residuals, as phosphoric acid will etch glass when it is concentrated and hot.

I can get it (70%) but the couriers aren't too keen on carrying it.
