I just came into a few hundred heathkit component boards from the 50's and 60's. Still in the boxes with IBM punchcard ID's on them. Some are still sealed.
My question is any one know of collectors? There are tantalum wet slugs on them and a strip of fingers on one side. The gold is thick. It would be easy enough just to zip em off and strip, but they could be worth way more to someone any input.? Besides ebay.

I would suggest to look into the collector value for sure
on this stuff. I have seen some kits go for decent money.
If you don't get any collectors interested then get the gold.
Its always better to get more money than the gold, and the
time and chemicals to get it is worth. And then buy more gold.

Do you have any pictures or names? Heathkit made a lot of different stuff.
If it is computer parts then I think there is a good probability it's worth a lot more than the gold for collectors.
