Hello all,

I recently joined the forum and have been reading A LOT. I've searched the forum for posts referring to flash modules but haven't found any. I'd like anyone's opinion if these are worth processing and if so recommendations on a method. Thanks in advance for any and all advice.

Regards,

Jay

You want my opinion? Sell them.
This type of scrap is not high in value and their tiny size makes them more difficult to work with. There are possible values in the two black ICs, the connector strip and tiny chip capacitors. There may even be silver in the solder itself.
To recover values from these items they must first be separated from the board and processed separately. Then, after all that, you'll find the returns will be disappointing.

For newbies it's generally recommended to start learning processes with gold fingers and work up from there.

I treat the IC packages just like the packages from RAM. As for the rest, there are some Gold plated contacts, some capacitors that probably contain PGM's, and the rest of the board could go into the green board pile for recycling.
Search for incineration of IC's or flatpacks, there is quite a bit of information here about it.

If you have enough of them, you may want to hang on to them. Maybe sometime in the future, after you have some experience under your belt, you may want to 'play around' with them. Just a thought.
