p4 yields help

Ok how is everyone
I hope all is good in the head.

I have a backer that wants to buy cpu's
To be specific p4 i believe metal fiber
He needs to know what yields to expect

I have explained the only way to tell is to
do it and that it will differ greatly on many
variables
I searched quite a bit (lids,pentium pros,merged cpu's)but nothing on this
Can someone atleast point me to a post
Lowest and highest yeilds and the best process(incinerate to powder,nitric,hammer,a/p)

Why would he want to buy one of the lowest yielding chip's, cant you get him interested in buying higher grade chip's?


Remove the copper top.
Heat the chip up to remove the pin's and capacitors.
Soak the pin's in warm HCL to remove the base metals.
Wash your pin's.
Dissove your pins in your favorite slution.
Precipitate your gold.
Repeat your process.

Process the capcitors when you have sufficent volume.

Ok I get it nobody has ever done these
Due to them being the lowest chip yield
But then....
How do we know what they yield if noone
has ever done them

It just so happens this is a product he already has
and wants to test me with worthless cr@p

He will give me 10lbs to start

This would leave me to believe the pins are all gold
Otherwise why not a/p or nitric
Dissolve in favorate solution (hcl/bleach)
precipitate gold (smb)
repeat?
What would I repeat from what step?
What about harrolds washes ? Testing ?
Im sorry for sounding like a newbie but this is not the
procedure that I learned here.

On these CPU's you can use a tourch or an electric heat gun, heat up the CPU and the pin's should fall off. Soak the pin's in HCL to remove the base meatls. Then you can follow the usual processing procedures as outlines by the forum.
