Are there any refineries that would take a small batch of Pt sponge? I have 11.29 grams I would like to sell. Part of it is from catalytic converters, and the rest from a ring. I boiled them in AR and precipitated using ammonium chloride to create yellow-orange ammonium hexachloroplatinate which was then calcined. It was calcined with a filter paper, and then incinerated to remove the carbon impurities it left behind (obviously this wasn't the most efficient way to do it), but I suspect it to be at least 90% pt.
