Non-Chemical Pressure during backflow

If one were to create a apparatus designed to eliminate fumes from AR and you had some tubing going into a solution of NaOH to scrubb any remaining fumes and a situation of backflow occured approximatly how much vacuum pressure would this create?

Fumes condensing can produce similar forces to fumes being generated.
I could not tell you exactly how much pressure/vacuum as it depends on so many factors, even if i knew all of them, i'm not sure i know how to calculate this.

Anyway, backflow occurs when you do not pay attention to the reaction.
To protect from back flow to contaminate your reactants, you can install a one way valve on the tubing leading to the scrubber.
To your reaction vessel, fit a one way valve which allows air into the vessel when it's under vacuum and prevent out flow when the vessel is under pressure.

Or, you could always fit an empty container between the reactor and the scrub column. In case of a backflow, the container will fill up untill the pressure is equalized. Thus, preventing scrub solution to enter your reactor.
