Pretreatment of Jewelers Bench Tray Filings

In most cases i don’t see a lot of Pd from our sweeps. A jeweler friend on here that’s a friend of Lou’s used it a lot before the price jumped up.

we have an XRF and it’s been interesting seeing what’s in what. i enjoyed the posts about the guy in India the had issues with his refining equipment that 4metals and others were helping him with. What i learned the most from that exchange was don’t expect 100 percent recovery and don’t spend $1’s to reclaim a few cents.

Just back and I want to thank GOG for the insights and 4metals with the 50/50 water/nitric tip. Yes Rhpos Pd presence noted, it seems everything but the kitchen sink ends up in tray filings. It is oppressively hot here so I am waiting for the heat wave to break before I continue. Yea...I am a lightweight...
