Hey guys and gals, just want some input from all of you on this.
Recently I had a young hobbiest give (yes give) me three buttons of gold that he had collected from electronic scrap. But they (when tested) only rage from 10k to 12k purity.
What I wish to do is to purify them farther. What would be the best way to do this?
My thoughts were to dissolve them in poor mans aqua regia, But should I remelt them into smaller buttons first.
one button weights== 12.9 grams
second weights === 7.2 grams
third weights ====1.1 grams
total === 21.2 grams
