Hello;

like I've read in the forum there is no reason for processing flip chips but what about fiber-cpu's like the AMD Celeron?

If you have extracted the heatsink and the contact-pins at the bottom, you have a construction like a flip chip....is there any pm inside or can I discarde them?

Regards!

There could be traces of gold from ENIG surface treatment before mounting the flip chip. How much exactly I have no clue about, but I sell them together with my low grade boards without loosing sleep over it.

My guess is that the copper wires inside the fiber board is worth more than the gold plating left on the board after you have removed the pins.

Hi,

and thanks!

I know about the zero gold contend in "normal" flip chips and so I've asked only for flip-chip like cpu but as you've wrote...there is almost nothing too and I am not amazed about it....

nice time!
