I am a hobbyist refiner and I have been using sodium chloride to refine my metals in the past, but now I have looked at sodium Polyacrylate, it's a super absorbent polymer but I read on The American chemical society publications that it can be used as an electrolyte.
Quick question, if I used sodium Polyacrylate in small amounts, Suffield to not fully absorb the water in the solution. Along with copper electrodes, what kind of reaction am I looking at, I'm not sure what will occur, that's why I'm asking you fellas who are more knowledgeable than me .
Thanks
