A while back I bought a bunch of Silicon Graphics stuff off of Ebay with the intention of getting it working, but you know how it goes, so I ended up pulling the chips and RAM out and trashing the boards. How much gold do y'all think would be recoverable, and what's a ballpark fair price?

The majority of the chips here are from the SGIs:

Most of this RAM is also from the SGIs:

Assorted PC ATM/NIC/sound/video cards that probably aren't worth much:

Thanks for any info/pointers!

Thanks Necromancer! Looks like boardsort outright buys stuff, and after thinking about it I'd kinda rather have the gold itself. I've seen mentions of toll refining on here - do y'all know of reputable members on here who are still willing to do toll refining?

Now here is where you have it all wrong.

With toll refining you will have to pay a fee, not to mention that you need to wait for everything to be done. With boardsort or simillar outfit you will get paid straight and you can buy gold with that money. That gold will be in coin or bar form, stamped and highly liquid unlike any button you get from toll refining. Financially it will be about the same as toll refining, nobody is going to do it for you for free.

Do you want to make money? Head to cpu collectors forum and offer them cpu you got for sale you will likely get few times more than any gold recoverable on them.
