Quick question

Whats it mean when your gold precipitates out from hcl/bleach solution as gold powder rather than the expected brown?
I suspect drying this will be more difficult than the standard brown stuff.

The brown IS actually gold powder so don't mistake it for being different. If you have a drop that looks more like golden powder then it's a good thing. It doesn't dry any differently but tends to require less cleaning 8)
