Dear all,
I am looking for a way to remove iron from a sample containing 20% Au maximum.
In fact, I started with a crematorium sample containing a lot of common metals (Fe, Cr, Co, Ti,...). I added pyrite instead of sulphur and melt at 1200°C. I obtained a mass with a lot of powder. So I added copper to obtain a full mass (with 10% loss by evaporation).
Now I have a mass with less gold, and a lot of iron...
How should I do to obtain the maximum of gold possible ?
Should I do it in another way ?
Please help me, I have done a lot of researchs already...
Sorry for my English... I'm French
