Remove components from circuit boards

hey I wonder what is the best way to remove electronic component are from a goldeplatedt circuit board

Soak them in HCL, that with dissolve the solder to remove the components.

Hi,

I also removed components from printed circuit boards. Here is how I do it:

1. Using a plier, pull the plastic covers off of the slots, then turn the board over, use the heat gun and loosen the solders beneth the pins, then hit the board and they all fall down. I woukd keep pins from different slots separately.

2. Use a chisel to remove all ICs and chips off the board.

3. Use the same chisel to remove the connector ports (USB, fiber, ethernet, keyboard), then use a hammer on a hard surface to break those apart and remove the pins.
