i bought 2ounces of rhodium sponge from kitco and was charged 300dollars for freight and insurance and tax ---is this not very expensive or is the usual costs?---almost 5dollars a gram

i do not know how it was shipped---it was sent from canada to san francisco(usa) to my nephew who buys my needs and then send me or bring to brazil-----just as a reference 2ounces=3900dollars+300dollars freight + insurance=total 4200dollars---- this was bought a week ago and paid----they deliver up to 2weeks time

So, it may have had two international shipping charges associated with the order.
One from Kitco to your nephew and one from your nephew to you. If it went Fedex
or DHL then $300 is probably fair. If it went Canada post and then USPS to you
then maybe not so fair.

With a $3,900.00 order, I hope it went with Fedex or someone like that. 8)
