I want to call it shale. Taken from No Gold Creek last weekend and was brown. Turned Green this week while in steel bucket... Found that odd, and just curious if anyone has seen that before.
Looks like some type of chert like the stuff that native Americans would have made arrowheads and other tools out of.
If it's around limestone that's most likely what it is.
