So I came across a nice old rotary today for free. non working, could have sold it on ebay for 20 bucks probably but I remember people saying there are some nice stuff in them. Here are the pics

this is the picture of the contact points,which I believe is the platinum tips/little silver tabs on the brass arms. you older guys that have seen these please ring in. no pun lol

There's no DTMF, your pictures are so poor it's difficult see clearly what you have.
 
Back in the days of my youth there was the Blue Box and the famous Capitan Crunch whistle a free toy inside the cereal box that would emulate the DTMF tones used on telephones enabling the user to make free long distance telephone calls.

The practice of using a blue box was called Phone Phreacking, the blue box in the picture was built by Steve Wozniak one of the founders of Apple Computer.

DTMF has been replaced with digital telephone signals, hence the birth of VOIP.

Rotary phones are generally worth more whole, and even more if they work. We have a video production group here that bought some from a friend of mine for "70's set decoration". About the only thing in them worth much is discussed here:
