Well I just spent a nice day in Orillia Ontario with Ralph and Pete from EDI gold. Wrecker 45 (Jim )was in the house as well trading his goods. What a classy and well run operation. Ralph and his brother Pete were very attentive and very good to deal with. Their weights were spot on for my material, their prices were the best around and selling some boards and a little half ounce gold button and buying some silver. For some reason I do like junk silver and they had just what I needed.
Pete was with in 5 cents of my prediction for my little gold button! He guestimated it to be 99.5% gold. Needless to say I was pleased.
Finished up at EDI and spent some time over lunch with Jim as he told me stories of life in the northern part of southern Ontario. Great guy with stories to tell. Hope you did OK at the Casino Jim !
Had to dash off to see my incinerator guy and all is well there. Got a call about a larger and better work space for less money, seen it and may make a deal on it. All in all a really great day, meeting all kinds of great people. It was good to meet all of you.
One sour note on the day, My new glassware arrived and the 5 liter vac flask was in a thousand pieces and a 2.5 liter vac flask had a broken neck. Oh yeah and UPS added 200 bucks to the shipping. You win some, you loose some.
