Hi to All.

I have Silver Chloride solution with Tin Chloride in it. Now I want to separate the Tin Chloride from the Solution. Kindly suggest on how should I go about this.

Thank you & Have a good day ahead.

Did you take a sample into the daylight? Did it turn dark? And, silver chloride is a solid.

It may look like a liquid but if it sits long enough, silver chloride will settle out of solution.

Hi Geo,

Thankyou for the reply. As per what you have said we are doing a sample test. And I am attaching a picture of what the solution looks like at the moment. Kindly have a look.

If you know, it is silverchloride:

vacuum filter
wash with HCl
rinse with boiling water
convert by your prefered method

Please add some more information. How did you create this? what process did you use? What material did you start with?
