How much SMB powder do I add to water to get the gold to drop out of the acid/chloride solution?? My solution is still kind of a grey haze and its been sitting for two days.
Help please...

You add the SMB in amounts that depend on how much gold you expect from the solution.
At least as much SMB as the gold you expect. I usually stir it in dry and then add some until the solution clears and all the gold drops. You don't need to mix it in water first.

do not add the SMB to water until your ready to use it. as SMB dissolves it creates SO2 (sulfur dioxide) gas which is formed as bubbles in the liquid solution, as time goes by this gas rises and escapes the solution. its the SO2 gas that precipitates the gold out of solution.if you premix your SMB solution days in advance it may not work properly.
