Hi All,
Thanks to everyone for being a part of this astounding resource! I'm a sculptor and silversmith (part time these days) that has worked a little with gold and platinum. I've also worked in an aluminum foundry and as a sculptor in the art bronze industry, with a lot of exposure to bronze and silver casting processes. My background in chemistry is limited to college 101, but I'm embracing the complexity of the processes so generously described here. I'm interested in buying scrap precious metals full time and eventually refining them on my own, but for now I'm studying, planning and dreaming.
