I received in my last haul two laptop solid state hard drives (SSD). I was told they were non working so I scraped them. Really nice chips on these boards. This will undoubtedly result in more pm's than any disc on the inside would. Looking forward to seeing many more in the future. 'Hasta la vista glass discs!'

This kind of IC chips may contain more gold in them than common s/n bridge BGA IC.
That's what I am hoping for Pat. It will take a while to get enough of these chips for a separate yield test. In my small ewaste operation I get more gold from chips than anything else. Time will tell.
