Hi!
I am new here. Can you help me?
I work in e-waste and actually we sell 3.000 kg/week of Precious waste.
Now i am starting to extract PM from ewaste.
Actulally I did a bath of HNO3, filtering and after AR.
1)Any suggestion for the best process/chemicals for Silver and Palladium?
Probably you can suggest me some tread/link!
2) Now I have 1.150 grams of precious metal in AR (platinum,Gold).
Can you support me step by step?

Assol,
We are here to help you, the first thing I suggest is putting away the nitric acid, and any other chemicals, there are many dangers you are unaware of.

If you truely wish to learn these skill plan on spending years of hard work and study, this is not something you can watch a video and learn. it is not something someone can " walk you through" these are skills of the chemistry of metals that take time to learn and understand, there are many dangers, deadly gases, to even explosion of glass ware full of hot acids, nothing we do could be called safe if done by someone without self education of the dangers involved.

Start with safety, and leaning how to deal with waste, then move on to a study of how to mechanically seperate the gold from the trash and the other base metals.

Hi and welcome!

I would recommend this site. It has a lot of information and guides. Even a whole book on refining.
Just check the introduction and the library section. There's a lot of helpful persons there too and if you just put some effort into doing some basic research and reading up on the subject then they will help you with any problem you run into.

Welcome to the forum.
What you need is a fully skilled refining expert, there are a fair few on the forum but their time and experience will not come cheap.
You are talking serious amounts of precious metals so paying for the right help should save you a lot of time and money in the long run.
If you intend on going alone you need to do a lot of reading and studying to achieve acceptable returns and results, it can be done and has been many times but it takes a lot of time and patience to succeed.

Hi,
After adding urea to AR, sone crystals formed.
Is it necessary to filter it or can i go on wit smb?
After urea's adding, what about the ph?

Nothing can mess up your day more than too much urea! Filter it first and rinse with hot water then when it cools and no more urea crystallizes out you can drop it. How much urea did you use?

It's a test ...
1) 100 g of PM completly dissolved in 800 cc of Ar( 1 HNO3 - 3 hCl) at room temperature.
2) 200 g of urea in solution with 500 cc of hot water (50 celsius).
3) at 45/50 celsius degrees, i added 450 cc of urea's solution step by step untill the AR Stopped to foam.
4) after a night at 18/20 degrees, the result was the one in the picture!
