Hello and how is everyone
Today will be a good day.

I have recently dropped a flattened 3/4" x 10"
Copper pipe in my stockpot

If there is any left i will brush all cemented Au back
Into pot ans let settle for 2 or 3 days before siphoning
The liquid and testing then will place some Fe in

My question has to do with my solids
This probaly is not the best way but i only have
One stockpot ,So it contains all the sulphates
And oxides from ceramic ic's and everything else
From many processes to include
Led ,kovar ,cobalt,nickel,silver,iron,copper and
Im sure many others and Au i hope

Once i have all of my solids together i will dissolution
With Hcl/bleach( this is ok or do i need to heat
With a nitre and Hcl)

Once dissolutioned do i need to follow the same
Process for ceramic ic's where i filter into
An ice bath with a pinch of sulfumic acid and let
Settle and then decant leaving again my sulpfates
And chlorates behind (of course washing till clear)

After i would filter with charmin plug and precipitate
With smb mixed with an equel amount of water

Of course i would be testing with stannous at every turn
Especially when switching vessels

Can anyone tell me what i might have left out
Or am doing wrong

I know i am not very good at this so i plan on a lot
Of Au
I had finally a couple months ago started a different
Stock pot for decanted solution after precipitation
And o my god
In a week my stock pot had more brown powders
In it than all the Au i had melted
And i thought i was being careful

Thanks steyr223 rob
Any and all comments good or bad are welcome
And greatly appreciated

So what did i say wrong this is my first stock
Pot recovery
Does this mean my procedure is flawless
I guess that works
I am at filtration ans will steam within the hour
I will let everyone no my results

Thanka steyr223 rob

Rob, i always evaporate when dealing with stock pot solutions. i may evaporate as much as 90% volume. it drop quite a bit of salt crystals, some times green and some times blue. it helps to keep the volume low and helps to work with a more concentrated solution.

Thanks geo I'll give it a try
I did manage to pull a small nugget about a third of the gram
What's weird is it came out shinier than anything I've ever
Had
It may have had something to do with the
Borax Actually bubbling at the end of melting
Not boiling bubbles but soap like bubbles
Very clear no burn ,it seemed to have some sort
Of cleaning effect

Anyways thanks i was woundering about any excess
Nitric so that will solve that
